I wish to extend my heartfelt condolences to Brenda and family ; all who had the pleasure of knowing Faron.
Colleen is one of my dearest friends, such a beautiful compassionate soul . After spending time with her family out east I learned the apples didn't fall far from the tree. A family who genuinely understands how valuable the little things in life really are.
My thoughts and appreciation to you all during a difficult time.

Miss you infinitely, Pop. I wrote a poem for you.
Rise again, o Sol, your journey most dependable,
show me Luna, her duality now most tenable.
Bless the stars, o Luna, their iridescence ever deep,
and cradle us gently while we weep.
Light the way, o Sol, through this thicket and leaf,
to guide us through this most painful grief.
Follow their guidance, o Luna and Sol,
and see the sunshine in the moonlight.

KC I worked with Faron at maritime paper and along with Rob Hewitts praise of Faron’s personality I too was lucky to work with a man who filled the room with positive energy good humour who always brought a sense of calmness to any situation. Faron and Brenda spend a night down at my cottage at Big Island NS and more like a camp off the grid once your there the nature and peacefulness of its surroundings are equal to Faron’s Spirit. On our last shift together almost 15 years ago he set a knife on its edge on our shop table and said to me see this ! ,you will never forget me, and yes Farron it has happened over and over thank you for that bud Rest In Peace.

Brenda and family words can't describe the unbelievable loss of Faron. That gentle little boy who loved to read and eat cake did not change over the years. His quiet smile and twinkling eyes will be remembered by all who were blessed to know him.

To Brenda and family,
So sad to hear of uncle Faron's passing, sadder to hear we have lost one of the worlds happiest individuals. A man that has meant so much to our entire family over the years. Kind, generous and happy is the way he will be remembered.

To Brenda and Family,
I am one of Faron's older brothers. My name is Verdon and we grew up in a family of seven children, Faron being the youngest.
I have always known Faron as being a happy young boy never seeming to get upset. That is the way he remained all his life.
Anyone who knew Faron would say the same, always easy going, never worrying about much. If you spent time with him, you knew you had a friend for life, he was just that type of guy. When we grew up, we worked in different parts of the country and did not see each other much at times, but when we managed to get together it was always fun and good times.
As time went by we both became Christians and had many great times sharing God's word. Praying together was really the highlight of our lives.
I want to thank God for all the time we shared together and I want to thank everyone for being here today supporting each other.
Thanks to you ,Brenda, for all you have had to do on Faron's behalf.
God bless you all.
Brother Verdon and family.

Faron was a loving brother. A wonderful man to all who knew him.
We were so very happy for the week we got to share with him and Brenda this past October.
We made some beautiful memories which will be treasured forever!
We were so blessed to have him as our brother.
Love you brother.

To Brenda and family,
I first met Faron when the midwife, Aunt Bertha Cooze said from the top of the stairs, in our old two story house, which sat at the side of the hill in Gambo, "if you want to see your baby brother now, come on up". All the brothers and sisters were invited into the bedroom to view a very small baby boy with light hair. That was my first memory of Faron.
Faron was the last of the siblings to be born into our family. Father whom we have always called Pop liked a country and western
singer Faron Young, so Faron was given the name Faron.
I always found Faron very easy to be around as he was very witty and always in a happy mood. Stress didn't worry Faron. being very spiritual, Faron received strength from the teachings of the New Testament.
I worked with Faron in Labrador City and St. John's with pleasure. Jesus said, "take no thought for tomorrow". That was my brothers motto.
Love you Faron. We will meet up yonder. God be with you.
Your loving brother, Marshall.

To Brenda and Family,
We all blessed to have Faron in our lives and as part of our family.
In remembering Uncle Faron, I always saw him as Gods' example and hope for humanity. Intelligent, gracious, humble, with extreme wit and a grin and smile reminding you that what you had to say was always of importance to him.
He shall be greatly missed and respectfully remembered.

I never imagined that I could be so blessed to have a father-in-law quite like Faron. In 1994 not only did he and Brenda welcome me into their home...they welcomed me into their family. In the 10 years we lived in Nova Scotia, and even beyond that, he was always there for us...always with Brenda by his side. Whether it was moments of joy, need, struggle, he always had that same smile and same positive attitude from which I learned so much! He is already deeply missed.

Brenda, thinking of you and wishing I lived closer. So many wonderful memories shared with you and Faron. Your door was always open and the kettle always on. You both had a way of making everyone who entered feel overwhelming loved and special. I’ll always remember the fun we had making 100 bottles of strawberry jam for mom’s wedding, Faron kept us supplied with tea and treats the whole time!! Faron will be greatly missed. ❤️
