Obituary of Faron Lush

It is with great sadness that the family of Faron Lush announce his sudden passing on Sunday January 15, 2023 with his loving wife by his side.

Faron was born on January 5, 1954 in Gambo, Newfoundland and Labrador, a fact of which he was very proud. Faron’s career as an electrician took him to work in many places in Canada but we always knew Faron’s heart was “ home” in NL.

Faron’s greatest treasure on earth was his family. He was a loving son, husband, father, step-father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle. His love for his family was abundant and unconditional.  Faron’s greatest pleasure was having his family around him, whether it was for a cup of tea or a meal or to “ stay as long as you like”. Faron’s loving, kind peaceful personality touched his family and friends in many ways and we will always be grateful for his time in our lives.

Left to mourn and treasure his memory are his wife of thirty four years, Brenda ( Noseworthy);  son Duane( Mary) Clareshome,AB; daughter Colleen, Wasaga Beach ON; step-son Kristian (Kara) Kingston ON; step-son Adam Smith, Black River Lake, NS; grandchildren, Brendan(Cara),  Breanne, Bethany ( Brennan), Nathan, Annelise, Cameron, Wesley and Ella;  great grandchildren, Willow and Myles;  brothers Marshall ( Joyce) and Verdon ( Jessie); sisters Daphne, Olive, Jean and Alvie;  sister in law Cindy; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Faron was predeceased by his parents James and Margaret ( Murphy) Lush;  brother and sister in law Stewart and Nell Lush;  brother Jim;  brothers-in-law,  Gerald, Wilson, Lewis, and Robert; niece Tammy.

A celebration of life will be held at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville, NS on Saturday, January 21 from 3-5 p.m.  Faron has been cremated and his ashes will return to Newfoundland and Labrador this summer where a celebration of life will take place in Gambo.
