Mary K. and I were saddened to hear of Florence’s passing and we extend sincere sympathy to all family members at this difficult time. In recent years, it was always a pleasure for me to drop in and have a visit with Florence and Bill. They were always so welcoming and our conversations usually went back to yesteryears. The Campbells were an integral part of the Black Diamond and Florence’s life took her far beyond her roots here. Rest in Peace Florence.

Such a wonderful lady. She had been a customer at the superstore for all the years I have worked there. Met her while she was in hospital in February. We had a great chat. My thoughts and prayers to her family.

Florence was a ray of sunshine growing up! She was so kind to me. I can remember one time running in to her on the PEI ferry and I mentioned I couldn't wait to go for a lobster dinner once we got off the boat. She said don't be spending your money. Here is the key to my house. I have a whole freezer full of lobster help yourself. Another time Sarah and I couldn't get our desired food order because the restaurant was closed so she went out and bought the deep fryer on the way home to make the clam strips for us! Florence was a very special person who loved her children and cared about their friends. She was one of those uplifting people in life which she passed on to Sarah!
