My sincere condolences to Mikes entire family.
Mike was one of my roommates back in our early 20’s. What a special person, I will never forget his quick wit, smile, sense of humor, and that laugh, it was contagious.
I remember when Mike bought a Steve Earl album, to this day, whenever I hear the song Copperhead Road I think of Mike, I remember countless times when we were hanging out hearing his voice belting out those lyrics with so much enthusiasm and see that big grin on his face.
I'll forever treasure the memories of our times together, and how effortlessly we picked up where we left off, no matter how long it had been. Thou Mike may no longer be with us in person, his laughter will live on in the hearts of anyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Kyle & Carmen, your dads love and pride for you both was an unwavering force in his life, he leaves behind a beautiful legacy.
Rest easy Mike

Sad and too soon for Mike to leave. I have many childhood memories of vacationing with Mike and other cousins. He was Mr Excitement getting things organized and started. I will always remember his laugh and facial expressions. His stories were always the best and left you wanting more. Sad to lose another one.

I have so so many memories with mike starting way back in Ontario when we were in our early 20's sharing a house with a few other friends from back home, too him and i working together at the bodyshop and sharing apartments so many good times im not able to choose a favorite it was always a time to remember when you were with mike no matter where we were.
I can still hear him saying my name when it was time to go on er for a weekend of fun of course this was before he started his family life when he became dad to kyle and Carmen and a great dad he became, my heart breaks for them both and all his family, mike definitely made his mark deep into alot of hearts including mine and will be forever missed, he was my best friend and brother

Mike, Michael Walsh - a man of Word, Trust and a valuable true Friend. It has been a privilage to get to work with you and know you, as well as your Brother Paul after he retired from the Navy. Still last week, I sent back the picture to our Friend James that we took together last year in Calgary while you were going accross Canada with your Daugther Carmen to remind hom what a great night it was and the true bond between all of us.
We would not have succeed in Regina without you and everybody is unanimous. At the same time, you taught me valuable lessons that helped me, as well as everybody who worked with you, to grow up and become better.
You had a say - " I am telling you " which I cannot forget. You always took care of everyody, and taught me - "we can the best Technicians in the word, I am telling you Yoann, the People is 90% of the job. They do the job for us, we have to take care of them because they are the ones who matters'. But then, earlier this year, you could not believe how many people would call you, support you and giving you love. You got blessed by all these greatings. We had one of our 'talks', and I explained we were just trying to give you back what you gave us. You were amazed by how much your Family and your Kids were taking care of you.
Mike, you shooked my life in a very positive manner, and there is not a single week since we met that I do not take an action where I could hear you whispering to my ear some ideas. Everybody you met, trained and support feels this way.
My Sinceres Condoleances to your Family, your Son and your Daugther. You will be missed Mike but not forgotten.

I worked with Mike for many years together, we bonded from day one. Mike had a sense of urgency and get’er attitude like no other, which made him very successful tied to the skills he learned. Mike was fair, honest and spoke the truth. Those who appreciated that attached to him like glue, I am one of those.
We became friends from the get go, many good times outside work enjoying his sea food chowder and hospitality. Although Mike moved on to another company we always kept in touch and had a great deal of love and respect for one another.
Couple of Mikes sayings that stuck with me and I use quite offen. “ If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bull” and “ Chaos is Cash”
Condolences to Mikes family, you will be forever missed Brother.

To Mike’s family, especially his children Kyle & Carmen (love you both) we are deeply saddened for your loss and share your grief; although Mike has worked away the better part of the past 12 years whenever being back home it was as usual his Hello with that big hearty voice accompanied with a big bear hug; reflections of years past Mike was all about Family and many times he happily entertained family/friends at his homes in Foxbrook & South Main Street, he could make the biggest & tastiest pot of chilli, enough to feed an entire community. Mike lived life large & his biggest love was that for his kids, his proudest joy. Thinking of you all with caring compassion during this very difficult time of loss.

I'm so sad to hear of Mike's illness and passing. I knew Mike in his 20s .He was so easy to love and the kindest man. He used to love to pretend he knew all the answers to jeopardy. I would come over to his place and he would know all the answers and I was amazed at how smart he was. I found out later that he had watched jeopardy that had just been on another Chanel. Tricky he was. We went out four wheeling on a friend's truck almost every weekend. He was a huge part of my life for 4 years and we kept in touch for 2 more after that. It's been years and I am so proud of who he became. The family he was a part of, and the life he built with his wife and children. So sad for his whole family and friends he was close to..he was always easy to be around and love . Hugs and Prayers to all who knew him.
