Sincere condolences to Bonnie, Judy, Arthur, David, Wendy and Sherri and all of Gerry's family. As a teenager I often babysat at least 5 of those lively kiddos (think it was before Sherri), Gerry spoke to our Hopewell CGIT group about the nursing profession which solidified my desire to become a nurse. I had the opportunity to work with her on 2North when I returned to the County. She was compassionate, supportive and always positive. Cherish your memories. Barb (Beck) Young

I’ll always remember how excited I would be when my grandmother (her sister, Elva) would take me to visit Gerry. I would bring her pictures that I drew for her, and she would always have oatmeal cookies to snack on. My sincere condolences to all who knew and loved her, rest peacefully Aunt Gerry ❤️

My deepest condolences on the loss of your dearest mother Judy and to your entire family. I will never forget her care of us “new grads” with kindness and was always sharing her vast knowledge. Gerry was the epitome of a nurse. She led with kindness, compassion and tenderness. In 1986 she gifted me one of her “family cookbooks “. I still treasure and use it often. Again my deepest condolences on such a great loss.

Judy and family sorry to hear about Gerry. She was a kind hearted nurse with great compassion. She had a wonderful sense of humor and would laugh at pranks being carried out on fellow staff. As long as the work was done! She would smooth her hair and uniform when doctors arrived at the nurses station. She was a great lady! Now she will continue to be a great Angel!
