Dear Family of Wilma,
I remember Wilma with gratitude and affection and was very sad to learn of her death this week.
My husband was the Rev. Glenn Cooper who served at St. Andrew's Westville from 1998 till his retirement in 2008. He appreciated and respected Wilma's contribution to the congregation and the wider church and they had a good relationship filled with dedication and laughter!
When Glenn died suddenly in 2013, Wilma was deeply sympathetic and supportive to me, especially on one
Sunday in April 2013 when I, as Interim Moderator, conducted worship and communion at St. Andrew's--a moving and
difficult service for me with my recent loss of Glenn but she quietly understood.
She was a gift to the church and community and, I know, to her family.
God be with you and provide you with the consolation, strength and peace you need in these days.
Peace,
Iona MacLean

Wilma was loved and respected by those who knew her. Our Mother, Mrs. Cecelia Millen, and Wilma travelled many miles together. I will always remember Wilma's laugh and her genuine concern for others. Of course, her family came first and she was so proud of her children and grandchildren.
Wilma will never be forgotten. Our Sincere condolences,
Karen and David Hicks

To the families of Wilma, my sincere condolences. I grew up in St. Andrew's Church in Westville, and Wilma was always such a vibrant part of my memories. She was so generous in her praise of my family, especially my Dad, George Brimicombe, whom she credited with being such a help to her when she first became an Elder in the church. My memories of her were that she was always so active and energetic, and always willing in any way to do what she could for others. My prayer is that you will find peace and comfort in all the good memories you have.
