Our sincere condolences to you Marion and to the family. Bob is resting peacefully. We got to know Bob when he and Marion delivered our weekly flyers. Always had treats for our pups and we always had a lovely little chat about anything that came to him in those moments. The dogs clamoured to get in the car for a pet and extra treat. Bob and I served together in a few postings as RCEME mechanics both in Gagetown and Chatham.A great guy good mech.and a great soldier.I read his obituary too late to attend the funeral,which I will always be sorry for.RIP old friend ARTE et MARTE.

One of my most favorite neighbors, ever since I was a little kid. Bob and Marion would always buy from my school events or anything that was going on. The kindest and most caring neighbors you could ever find. I would enjoy seeing Bob out for walks on the road and would stop and chat from time to time checking the mail. Bob was known as the “flyer guy”. He and Marion always took that extra few minutes when they arrived at our house to see the newest trick on a bike or with a ball. He always gave lots of words of encouragement to the kids on those bikes. Even the “older” kids loved to see them come. Many thoughts and prayers from the Doucette’s and the Blakely’s.

Rockin Robert and his favourite dog! This was the last picture taken of my grandfather. He loved singing frosty the snowman and here comes Santa Claus. Every night around 11 pm he would start asking to go home to Westville. Well gramps you’re finally home! Love you always!
