Lisa, Jason and Braydon we are so sad to hear of your dad/grandfathers death! We met your dad 19 years ago at his store and every year when we visit New Glasgow. Don always bought fly tying materials there among other things. He was a very nice and friendly man! We missed going there this pass couple of years since he closed his store.
Our condolences to you and you family.
RIP Mr. Ferguson!

Dear Marjorie and family:Evelyn and were deeply saddened to learn of Tichie's passing and deeply regret we will not be able to get down to pay our respects personally.Wesville has lost one of its finest civic minded citizens who has been a big part of the Westville(and beyond) scene all his life.Had known him since 1960 when first landed in Pic.Co. And as part of the Front Street gang in NG. Saw him in action building the Christmas scenes in Goodmans..In those days that was really the 'start of Chtistmas' in Pic.Co.(just like Macy's in New York) when Tichie's creation came to life and children and 'adult' children made their way to Goodmans windows to marvel at his latest 'creation' and brought joy and the Spirit of Christmas alive..he touched a lot of lives and will be missed and remembered by all.
We send our sympathy and condolences to you and all the family
Sincerely,
JackMacIsaac

Sending our sincere condolences across the miles from Alberta to all the family on the loss of Bob. My dad was also a member of The Classics back in the day. Bob was always ready with a smile and a chat anytime we met up. A good man, gone too soon. Westville just won’t be the same without him. Peace & Prayers to you all! Please accept my sincere condolences. Bob was so passionate about protecting our salmon and our rivers; he was a true inspiration and mentor to me. I always enjoyed our conversations and continually learned so much from him. I only hope that those of us currently with the Pictou County Rivers Association can continue the good work that he initiated and supported for so many years.

Bob joined the Westville Fire Dept in March 1963.Back then the Department consisted of a Pumper and Ambulance Unit. He was part of the group that fought for better equipment and a new Fire Station. Without his dedication ,our current members would not have what we take for granted today. Bob was a mentor to many of us,he will not be forgotten.Rest in Peace brother,we'll take it from here.

To all the members of Bob’s family, I send my deepest condolences. This man was a great influence and positive role model for anyone that knew him. His joking cheerful nature and outgoing personally rubbed off on everyone who interacted with him. He was a familiar face to the entire community as long as I can remember. His memory will go on pasted down by each cherished story told by the many who life’s he had touched by just being himself. He will be missed. I’m truly sorry for your and our loss.
